The space
Our space is designed for guest comfort. Your off-street parking space leads to a shared garden entrance that welcomes w/a water fountain and seasonal flowers. Private inner courtyard offers bistro seating for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The first-floor includes all home comforts including full kitchen w/tea and coffee, king-sized bed, clean bathroom with plenty of towels and personal amenities. Relax inside in the living room area w/sofa and television.

The guest have access to both private and shared outdoor spaces areas, the owners do their best to respect your privacy during your stay.
Additional notes
Our property is broken up into 3 areas. To help navigate the property we have lettered our doors. We live in the front building at #A, our guest house is located in the middle and is marked with the letter #B. #B is located on the first floor. At the back of the property we have a small building we use as a home office.
Guest interaction
While we are onsite in the main house, your privacy is important to us. As our guests, we respect this as your space while you stay with us, but we are available if you need anything and can be reached via cell phone. Access to the guesthouse is via keypad deadbolt; we will supply access code prior to your arrival. No key pickup/drop-off is required.

Neighborhood overview
“Normal” life revolves around our walkable community, the beloved Athens Farmer’s Market, open-air dining, beloved neighbors, friendly people, outdoor activities and parks and a unique community tucked near the UGA Health Science campus and Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. If you’re visiting Athens, Normaltown is the place to stay.

Why are we “Normal?” Normaltown gets its name from the original State Normal School, which trained future teachers, and later became a Naval Supply Corps School. The facility still exists, and is now part of the UGA Health campus. Historically, we were one of the first Athens neighborhoods and our community has evolved over the decades. We were one of the first Athens neighborhoods wired for electricity and our musical venues are proud to have hosted numerous performances by two beloved local bands that went on to international fame: R.E.M. and the B-52s. Though time continues to pass, Normaltown remains a little funky, a little up-and-coming, a little hip and much beloved by its residents and visitors.

Getting around
We are located in a wonderful walkable neighborhood in the heart of Normaltown. Just blocks away are restaurants (Mexican, seafood, pizza, American), coffee shop, brewery, laundromat, Piedmont Hospital, Health Science Campus and Piedmont College. City Bus and Free UGA bus are all located within 3 blocks.
